We run what we recommend.
MassiveScale.AI runs a working research lab. We're builders. We don't just advise on AI. We build it and run it ourselves before any of it reaches a client.
The lab stays at the cutting edge: how AI gets built, and how AI systems work together. The hard problem underneath is the one we keep getting pulled in to solve: putting unpredictable AI inside systems that have to behave predictably, and keeping control as it makes decisions and hands work to other AI.
That's the frontier we work at. It's also why our advice holds up in production. We've already run it.
Josh Woodruff
Setting the standard for AI agents
Josh founded MassiveScale.AI and wrote the Agentic Trust Framework, the first governance standard built for AI agents. It extends Zero Trust, the never-trust-always-verify model, to systems that act on their own. The Cloud Security Alliance published it, and Josh chairs it at CSAI, the alliance's foundation for securing AI.
The proof came fast. Within 30 days of publishing, independent teams had built tools against the spec, unasked. Nobody was paid or persuaded. They found the gap Josh had already mapped and started filling it.
He's a CSA Research Fellow and co-chairs its Zero Trust Working Group. As IANS faculty, he advises Fortune 500 security leaders on getting AI into production safely. He co-authored Agentic AI + Zero Trust: A Guide for Business Leaders, with a foreword by John Kindervag, who created Zero Trust.
Josh has worked in the hardest environments there are, across financial services, biotech, defense, and critical infrastructure. He's taken an enterprise AI program from zero to production in 30 days, work that usually takes a year, and it won the company's top innovation award.
And he runs the agents he governs. Every recommendation gets tested in MassiveScale's lab before it reaches a client. That's the difference between writing a framework and living in one.
Michelle Savage
Teaching AI how to talk
Michelle co-authored Agentic AI + Zero Trust, the firm's guide for business leaders. Her work is teaching AI to write the way a company talks: encoding the rules a brand lives by into the models themselves, so agents speak for the company without going off script.
Her approach pairs a knowledge system with ROI leadership can see. Then it goes one better. It shows the higher-value work people take on once AI clears the busywork. That's the belief in action: AI amplifies your people, it doesn't replace them.
When a CEO can present what we built without rehearsing, that's the standard Michelle sets.
Move fast. Without destroying your business.
Most consultancies in this space pick a side. Either they help you move fast and pretend the risk is somebody else's problem. Or they slow you down with paperwork that doesn't actually make you safer. The first group sells velocity. The second group sells theater.
We don't see those as a tradeoff. Done right, governance is the structure that lets you move fast with confidence. The roll cage, not the speed limit.
We're building the firm we wished existed when we were on the inside of large organisations trying to do this work.
No products to sell. Ever.
We don't resell software. We don't take referral fees. We don't partner with vendors. If the right answer for you is your existing stack, we'll tell you. If the right answer is a tool we've never used, we'll tell you that too.
The advice you get from us is the advice we would give a friend running your company. That's the only way the work makes sense.
Want to talk about your situation?
Every conversation starts with a senior practitioner, not a sales team. No pitch. If we're not the right fit, we'll point you to who is.
